A unique feature of the Royal Oak is a charming self contained stone cottage at the far end of the building, accommodation is made up of a living room with a LCD flat screen 26ins TV with multiple channels and a DVD player. Separate 6 seater dining room, fully fitted kitchen with Washer/Dryer, fridge freezer, breakfast bar and everything required for a long stay at the Oak Cottage. Upstairs we have a bathroom with separate bath and walk in shower and two bedrooms one with a double and one with two single beds each room has their own flat screen LCD TV.
The cottage offers the perfect combination of privacy giving guests the choice, self catering or strolling along to the inn for breakfast, lunch or dinner and if you want an early night you will hear nothing through those 17th Century walls. The cottage has the benefit of gas central heating throughout and a real flame gas fire ideal for snuggling up to on those cold Cumbrian nights.
The cottage is bookable by the night, short mid-week or weekend break or for a week and can sleep up to a maximum of 5 people.
