In the historic market town of Appleby in Westmorland, nestled in the heart of the Eden valley in Cumbria this genuine 17th century coaching in offers excellent accommodation, restaurant and bar food.

With Appleby railway station situated on the famous Carlisle – Settle railway (only a few 100 yards away) the Royal Oak is that ideal stopping off point on any journey between England and Scotland by road or rail.
